Care+ Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Care+ WordPress Maintenance and Support services (“Care+ Services”).
Care+ is a subscription-based service designed to provide ongoing WordPress maintenance, security, performance optimization, and technical support for websites owned or operated by our clients.
By subscribing to Care+ or using any of its services, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the service.
2. Nature of the Service
Care+ is a managed website maintenance and support service, not a one-time project or software license.
Our role is to:
- Maintain the stability of your WordPress website
- Reduce security risks and downtime
- Ensure updates are applied safely
- Provide ongoing technical support based on your plan
Care+ does not guarantee that your website will be completely free of errors, downtime, or vulnerabilities, as these may arise from third-party systems, hosting environments, or external integrations.
3. Scope of Care+ Services
Depending on your plan, Care+ may include:
Core Maintenance
- WordPress core updates
- Theme and plugin updates
- Compatibility checks after updates
- Database optimization (when necessary)
Security Services
- Malware scanning and detection
- Login protection and brute-force prevention
- Security hardening recommendations
- Vulnerability monitoring and alerts
- Emergency mitigation assistance (Elite plan)
Backups & Recovery
- Automated daily or scheduled backups
- Secure offsite backup storage
- Restoration assistance upon request
- Disaster recovery support (within reasonable effort)
Performance Monitoring
- Uptime monitoring and alerts
- Basic speed and performance checks
- Core Web Vitals optimization (Elite plan)
Support & Development Assistance
- Technical troubleshooting
- Bug fixes within plan limits
- Minor website improvements
- Developer support hours (Growth & Elite plans only)
4. What Care+ Does NOT Include
Care+ does not include the following unless explicitly stated in your plan:
- Full website redesign or redevelopment
- Building new websites from scratch
- Large-scale custom development projects
- Content creation, copywriting, or SEO strategy
- Paid advertising or marketing services
- Third-party subscription fees or premium plugin costs
- Extensive emergency recovery beyond reasonable technical limits
- Work unrelated to WordPress environments
Any request outside scope will be quoted separately before work begins.
5. Support Structure & Response Times
We provide tiered support based on your plan:
- Starter Plan: Standard support (48–72 hours response time)
- Growth Plan: Priority support (within 8 business hours)
- Elite Plan: Emergency support (within 4 hours for critical issues)
Response time refers to initial acknowledgment, not full resolution.
Complex technical issues may require additional time depending on severity.
6. Updates & System Stability
We apply updates carefully using best practices to minimize disruption.
However:
- Some updates may conflict with third-party plugins or themes
- Certain issues may only appear after updates are deployed
- Not all compatibility issues can be predicted in advance
In such cases, we will:
- Attempt rollback or fixes within plan limits
- Investigate root causes
- Recommend alternatives when necessary
We are not liable for incompatibility caused by third-party software.
7. Backups & Data Responsibility
We perform regular backups as part of Care+.
However:
- Backups are a safety measure, not a guaranteed recovery solution for all scenarios
- Clients are strongly encouraged to maintain their own independent backups
- We are not responsible for data loss caused by external attacks, hosting failures, or client-side changes
We will make reasonable efforts to restore data when backups are available.
8. Client Responsibilities
To ensure smooth service delivery, clients agree to:
- Provide valid and secure admin access to WordPress and hosting (if required)
- Maintain active hosting and domain services
- Respond to support requests when needed
- Notify us before making major website changes
- Avoid installing unverified plugins or code without consultation
Delays caused by missing access or incorrect credentials are not our responsibility.
9. Payment Terms
- Care+ is billed monthly in advance
- Payments are due on the renewal date of each cycle
- All payments are non-refundable once processed
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or restricted access to services
- Pricing may change with prior notice for future billing cycles
10. Cancellation Policy
We believe in flexibility:
- You may cancel your Care+ plan at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- No long-term contracts or commitments apply
- No refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle
After cancellation, support and maintenance services will stop.
11. Service Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:
- Payment is overdue or failed
- Website access is restricted or revoked
- Client violates acceptable use policies
- Website activity presents security or legal risks
- Abusive or excessive support requests outside plan limits occur
We may restore service once issues are resolved.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for loss of revenue, customers, or business opportunities
- We are not liable for downtime caused by hosting providers or external services
- We are not responsible for security breaches originating from third-party vulnerabilities
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website operation
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for Care+ in the current billing month.
13. Third-Party Services
Care+ may depend on third-party systems such as:
- Hosting providers
- Plugins and themes
- External APIs or integrations
We are not responsible for:
- Third-party failures or outages
- Pricing changes of external services
- Security vulnerabilities in third-party software
We will, however, assist in diagnosing such issues where possible.
14. Intellectual Property
All client website content, branding, and data remain the property of the client.
We do not claim ownership of any client materials.
We reserve the right to:
- Use anonymized case studies for portfolio purposes
- Showcase general results without exposing sensitive data
15. Service Changes
We may update, improve, or modify Care+ services over time.
We will notify clients of:
- Major pricing changes
- Structural service changes
- Significant updates to these Terms
Continued use of Care+ after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.
16. No Warranty
Care+ Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
We do not guarantee:
- Zero downtime
- Zero vulnerabilities
- Perfect compatibility with all plugins or themes
- Uninterrupted service under all conditions
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable international commercial service practices and the legal jurisdiction of the operating company.
